With a collective patrimony of close to one billion $, the housing cooperative sector in the province of Québec carries a lot of weight. Set up by the Housing Cooperative Movement with the help of the Caisse d'économie solidaire Desjardins, the AFIC plan (intercoop financial advantages) lets the housing cooperatives who are members of the FECHIMM make substantial savings on their bank transactions and offers them very advantageous interest rates on their investments. The savings and revenues they generate contribute to reduce FECHIMM's annual membership fee.

FECHIMM'S Exclusive partners

Les entreprises maheu

FECHIMM and FECHAM, the two federations representing the housing cooperatives of the Greater Montreal, entered into a partnership agreement with Les Entreprises Maheu to offer their members discounted rates on products and services offered by the
parasitic management company.

Under the agreement, members of federated cooperatives benefit from a 10% discount on basic fares for the treatment of insects or
arthropods and on all products sold by Maheu. The discounts granted on the inspection services and the treatment of bedbugs vary from 15% to 25% depending on the number of dwellings.

Also, all services offered by Les entreprises Maheu are guaranteed.
To take advantage of this partnership, the members must present their Multiservices card to the tradesman.

Communauto

FECHIMM and Communauto have come to a partnership agreement for the use of the vehicles from their car sharing service at very advantageous conditions for resident members of cooperatives members of FECHIMM, and for the employees of the Federation.

A $1 an hour rebate is applied on the hourly rate of the " Le Lièvre " package deal. This package deal, usually available at the hourly rate of $4,95 (outside peak hours) and $5,95 (at peak hours), will be proposed to the members of housing cooperatives at the rate of $3,95 and $4,95 an hour. To these costs, you add an amount for the distance traveled, which comes to 0,15 $ per kilometre as we
speak (rates subject to change).

The residents of housing cooperatives who will use this method of transportation will not have to pay an amount for reimbursable membership fees, but only the annual fee of $39. The authentication of the members of the cooperatives will be
done through the Multiservices card of the Housing Cooperative Movement.

JD Paré electrique - Electrical supplies

The partnership with JD Paré electrique will allow cooperatives that are members of FECHIMM to benefit from very competitive prices on a wide variety of electrical supplies and lighting products. The two-year agreement will allow them to obtain these products at wholesale prices.

J.D Paré électrique will offer cooperatives assistance visits to help with their orders and in identifying products; they may also make the verification of material owned by the cooperative. According to the needs of the cooperatives, the partner could visit them on a monthly basis. JD Paré will pay for delivery costs for all orders of $ 100 or more.

Wholesaler and distributor of electrical supplies, located in Trois-Rivières since 1978, JD Paré is already working in the Efficient Co-op Program as a business partner. The company is the only vendor to offer a turnkey service, including preparation of forms for cashback from Hydro-Québec.

3% rebate when purchasing new equipment
10% rebate when repairing or purchasing used equipment
