POLITICAL ACTION
pEtition TO THE GOVERNMENT OF CANADA

The FECHIMM added its voice to the campaign of FRAPRU to convince the Federal Government to provide adequate budgets to ensure the renovation, improvement and modernization of all social housing (public housing , housing cooperatives and NPOs).

The petition also asks the F ederal Government to maintain the long-term subsidies granted to social housing made before 1994 , particularly those that ensure low-income tenants to rent according to their ability to pay. Click here to download the petition.

FIRST FREE DIAGNOSIS

In order to support cooperatives whose operating agreement is coming to an end, FECHIMM offers its members to establish for them a first diagnosis of the situation in their cooperative. To take advantage of this special offer, your cooperative must provide the Federation with a series of documents and authorize it to contact government agencies (CMHC or SHQ) in order to gather all the necessary information for the year. More info to come.
